<Phoenix--> i'm getting "site folder could not be opened for duplicate message deletion" but folder permissions and everything in adsiedit appears correct per MS help. i installed exchange to the c drive and then moved the data files to the d drive. is there somewhere else i should look to fix this error?

<cyberfrg> the only thing i can think of is that something (possibly appriver) is getting the emails then forwarding them to you .. if it's pure smtp it shouldn't affect read or unread but if it's something else forwarding might kill the read/unread marks
<cyberfrg> or you have some internal script that is doing something weird and fowarding internall and thus marking unread
<Phoenix--> M***changeFBPublish error 8276: Site folder could not be opened for duplicate message deletion. I used adsiedit to change the SiteFolderServer attribute to point to the local computer (it was pointing to the other Exchange server) but the error continues.

<Phoenix--> probably, but it's supposed to be a seamless transition - just change the location of the mailbox and publix folder store and exchange stops the services, unmounts, moves, mounts, and restarts the service - *should* be easy
<cyberfrg> i would move databack to c: and see if it works .. then make a new data store on the other drive/partition then move mailboxes
