<bud``> another option is renting out rooms.. my home has 3 bedrooms, I could get $250 for the small front bedroom, and $350 for the larger back bedroom. THis brings me $600/month income, and my mortgage is only $500, so I'm actually making a gain, and still licing in the master bedroom =D

<Lup|ne> and usually, the mortgagee has the ability to "make amends" to prevent foreclosure
<CometBaby> Linus look. I don't hold it against anyone if they get into financial difficulties and have to default or file bankruptcy. But don't tell me you didn't know. Don't tell us that you never saw it coming. That you were just whistling down the street and some sneaky person slipped in and foreclosed on you.

<CometBaby> Linus .. you ran up the bill. You knew what your payments were. They are not obligated to accomodate you. If you were serious about this you would have found a credit counselor. They are free from the almighty govt. But you wanted to be in control, and that's what it got you.

<CometBaby> Linus you would do better to say .. listen I screwed up. I made a huge mistake and ran up bills I could not pay. I tried to work it out but I waited too long. The bottom fell out. I learned my lesson and it won't happen again.
