<symbio> StafferX: Gee, well maybe if you *read* instead of immediatly going off like some hot head
<suna> tesla was someone who was MISERABLE
<symbio> You would have seen that
<suna> that guy's live ****ED
<suna> ****ed hard\
<jhicks> Lotec: it's purty dang cold here too
<StafferX> Out of the permanent members, the only two I would describe as dictatorial would be China and Russia...
<jhicks> I'm in north georgia at the moment
<jhicks> brrrr
<StafferX> Crap, I don't even know who the rotating members right now are. Hang on.
<symbio> StafferX: Well thanks for proving my point
<Lotec> jhicks, I miss my old CRT. I could heat my house with it
<Gazpacho> jhicks: finish him
<suna> anyway, i think mtv is largely responsible for 'ruining our youth' if you want:P
<US-Male> I ain't skeered 'a no sharks neither
<symbio> lol
<Lithium-> neither russia nor china are really dictatorial in its full sense though :/
<StafferX> Oh, well, of course, with only two votes, you could hardly be said to 'lead.'
<symbio> Lithium-: Oh of course =)
<StafferX> I think that, historically, Russia and China's best efforts have been to veto resolutions rather than get them p***ed...
<symbio> Lithium-: Why, China has a wonderful governmental system
<jhicks> US-Male: i dunno, i used to live in huntington beach and got pretty close to a white once.
<symbio> Lots of free expression =)
<jhicks> those bastards are ugly
<Lithium-> symbio: no, but its far from saddam
<US-Male> jhicks was it dawn or dusk ?
<jhicks> dusk
<US-Male> ahh
<Lithium-> russia especially
<StafferX> So I'm gonna have to add it to the 'bull****' pile.
<US-Male> dawn & dusk, feeding time
<suna> Growing up with it becoming popular, well....i think i have a view of mtv & rappers such as 2pac that is quite different from many adults. I saw my entire middleschool try to be thugs and commit crimes directly because of 2pac and 2pac alone. NOBODY ELSE IN THE MEDIA. just him. by himself. only him. this happened just prior to and primarily after he died.
<jhicks> US-Male: yeah, last time i went in the water there
<jhicks> It's too dang cold anyway, i don't miss it
<symbio> Lithium-: So what, you mean if human rights are violated *less* in one country then they were in another that means different?
<suna> then it faded and people wanted to be 'thugs' for other reasons
<suna> but i'll never forget that incredible wave of influence
<Lithium-> symbio: yes, exactly
<suna> i havn't seen it matched by a single person yet
<suna> and it's been 10 years
<Lotec> hola, Ky
<symbio> StafferX: Of course you would, because you would bend over when the U.N tells you to
<jhicks> US-Male: At sunset they're pretty spectacular when they roll in the surf
<symbio> StafferX: Which thank god we don't have a leader *yet* that shares your POV
<Lithium-> symbio: even "free" countries have various degrees of freedom. you cannot wear a swastika in germany
<US-Male> I've never seen a shark in teh wild
<StafferX> Wow, whoever is stuffing your head with this garbage knows me personally? That's kinda creepy.
<jhicks> They'll make a believer out of you
<US-Male> but I've been swimming in the ocean hundreds of times
<jhicks> I prefer the Gulf
<symbio> StafferX: You mean you don't support the U.N?
<symbio> I thought that was your angle
<Lotec> I once had a dolphin scare the hell out of me by sneaking up behind me and jumping out of the water
<US-Male> I only swam in the gulf once
<jhicks> Lotec: hehe, they're a hoot
<suna> omg, my other client is in 14 channels, a few of them with > 100 clients. The entire time i've been talking in this channel tonight, must be a couple hours, nobody has said ANYTHING in any of those channels
<US-Male> the water pulls you south in teh gulf
<jhicks> yeah
<suna> aside from away messages
<suna> efnet is dead except for this channel:P
<US-Male> current
<Lotec> jhicks, I'd swam over a hundred yards out to the sandbar when he got me
<symbio> I love given everything which has came out about U.N. programs and corruption, the people that are still willing to stand behind the U.N. as some *great* world organization
<StafferX> My opinion on the UN is that it is a tool for powerful nations to use in order to impose their will. The thought of the USA having trouble with the UN makes as much sense as my screwdriver turning on me and ruining my plans.
<jhicks> Lotec: that zone in the middle is shark country
<symbio> StafferX: We have trouble with the U.N. because we don't let it rule us
<symbio> StafferX: And that bothers them
<StafferX> I think it probably indicates misuse and misunderstanding of the tool.
<symbio> Because as with Clinton, before we loved to bend over for them when deemed appropriate
<symbio> Now we don't
<symbio> And this bothers them
<jhicks> symbio: it would be so easy to just withdraw from the UN
<StafferX> Symbio.. you gotta stop just suddenly announcing what gigantic, complicated groups of people 'think.' This is not good analysis.
<jhicks> Like when we withdrew from the LoN
<symbio> StafferX: You are denying U.N. corruption?
<jhicks> Withdraw and deport all the UN delegates
<StafferX> No, I'm disregarding it.
<jhicks> boy, that would rock
<symbio> StafferX: Of course, because it proves my point
<symbio> StafferX: So you're trying to beat around it
<StafferX> I get the feeling that you never, ever, ever run into a piece of data that dosen't prove your 'point.'
<Lotec> jhicks, we could deport some and take the rest to Gitmo
<jhicks> Lotec: or Abu Grahib
<symbio> StafferX: Does it really make sense for the U.S, to coop fully with a corrupt organization?
<Lotec> Didn't they turn that into a hospital?
<symbio> StafferX: I mean sense at all?
<StafferX> Absolutely.
<jhicks> Lotec: they'd prolly LIKE being put on dog leashes tho
<symbio> lol
<StafferX> Want to know why?
<symbio> StafferX: Yea, it would for you wouldn't it
<symbio> national security at the hands of the U.N.
<symbio> There's a secure America!
<jhicks> StafferX: you'll get nothing but ad-hom here
<StafferX> Because the UN isn't any more corrupt than our government is.
<symbio> lol
<symbio> HAHAHAHAH
<symbio> Yea....
<jhicks> symbio has never been to Louisiana or he'd know corruption in the USA
<StafferX> What, did you run it by your 'corruption-o-meter?'
<symbio> We have members of government raping people they're susposed to help
<jhicks> yes, it's called "Congress"
<US-Male> people pay good money to wear a dog leash
<symbio> Yea, Bush is sitting on piles of cash thats susposed to get to aid for state disasters
<dog3> cash? haha
<dog3> he printed some more?
<symbio> These would be equals to U.N. action
<jhicks> symbio: no but Neil Bush has a lotta retirees money
<jhicks> good ole neil
<dog3> why is it that people think that, just because prices aren't going up quickly, there's no inflation?
<symbio> [03:24] <StafferX> Because the UN isn't any more corrupt than our government is <- the fact you can make this statement shows how disconnected you are in this issue
<StafferX> Whining about corruption is a sport for the intellectually lazy. You go find me an organization with more than 100 people in it that isn't corrupt.
<Rockfish> Good ol' Neil, never shown to have done anything wrong at all, but let's not interrupt jhicks' fantasies
<jhicks> neil shows what a good upbringing will do for you
<StafferX> Either that or you're just talking about a difference in degree.
<symbio> StafferX: You need to do some reading on what has come out about U.N. corruption
<jhicks> Rockfish: that's why he's the family pariah
<symbio> Some of the stuff they've been doing
<symbio> Maybe your problem is you haven't really read a lot about it
<symbio> So you don't know
<Rockfish> Family pariah, yeah, nice to hear delusional libertarian rantings
<StafferX> Ooookay. I'll stack up stories of UN corruption. Then I'll go collecting evidence of corruption in the US Government. THen what? We weight both piles?
<Lotec> The UN being corrupt is less important than the fact it is so lame
<StafferX> See, Lotec gets it.
<Gazpacho> StafferX: then we roll up the evidence and cram it in your arse
<US-Male> UN corruption ? Don't be silly.
<Lotec> We should shut it down for being lame
<dog3> what's lame about the UN? except that they r a buncha pinkos of course
<symbio> [03:24] <StafferX> Because the UN isn't any more corrupt than our government is <- You can't make this statement and be serious
<symbio> You just can't
<Oax> heh you can
<US-Male> The UN is the future.
<symbio> lol
<jhicks> Rockfish: not nearly as entertaining as republican rantings though
<Gazpacho> symbio: well, the UN has a welfare system that actually works
<symbio> Oh yea!
<symbio> lol
<jhicks> US-Male: I think we should merge the Fed and the UN!
<jhicks> Gazpacho: welfare never "works"
<jhicks> by definition
<US-Male> And, the UN doesn't go running after imaginary WMD !
<symbio> lol
<Lotec> Gaz, you mean where the UN separates us from our money?
<symbio> U.N. money goes where it is suposed to go!
<Rockfish> USM, or after existing WMD either
<dog3> whose money? heh
<symbio> Hungry people!
<jhicks> Lotec: wealth redistribution baybee!
<US-Male> =)
