<Zmurf> mr male: deeper into the roots of the nature perhaps.
<guns4va> yanks, no thank you. I like my genitalia more than to stick it into a cesspool.
<Swigert> but if President Kerry were around, there'd be global peace
<jhicks> Yanks: exactly
<surlly> Just out of curiosity, how is the natinoal news portraying the situation in South Florida after WIlma?
<|Glitch|> astrodog: In order to get traffic into ANWR to build the wells there, they are going to have to build an ice road that sits on the tundra. That way it just eventually melts over the course of about 10 years.
<TheTailor> Yanks, calm yourself
<Yanks> **** global peace
<IamKing> guns4va: hahahahah
<Kaliuna> surlly -- well it was on headlines about them being without power
<Yanks> we need to nuke iraq
<jhicks> Yanks: that damn liberal bush really pisses me off!!!
<astrodog> Glitch: ANWR isn't even considered a profitable venture, by most oil companies now.
<Swigert> but if President Kerry were around, there'd be no poverty
<astrodog> heh
<sym`> Yanks: I can see you're going to last long here ....
<surlly> Kali: My sis in law says it could be 3 to 4 weeks before she gets power back
<TheTailor> astrodog, that's total horse****
<Yanks> bush isnt conservative enuff for mr
<Yanks> me
<guns4va> I think Bush should treat the opponents to his war in the same way that President Lincoln treated opponents of his war "back in the day"...
<jhicks> me either
<TheTailor> astrodog, they all want it
<surlly> ALthough that's what they said here in Orlando last year
<Kaliuna> surlly - for some places yes... at least it isn't too hot temp wise --
<Disbelief> DSTewart - you're doing it AGAIN. you're intentionally distorting the truth. do you see the DATE of this transcript?? stop quoting from LATER statement, as its just making you look even more dishonest. here it is again: http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2004/06/20040610-36.html
<DStewart> Glitch, nuh uh.... I've seen photos of ANWR. It's green, verdant lush hills and lakes. At least, until they open the ground and pour oil all over it, killing all the caribou who now frolic.
<surlly> We ahd ours back in 4 days
<CryArvach> Sox 1-0 top of 8th
<Swigert> let's go SOX!!!
<Kaliuna> surlly - they are doing their best...
<DStewart> Disbelief, now you are lying.
<astrodog> Tailor: Is that why 3 of the 4 major shareholders in ANWR minerals are backing out? The reason BP is the only company active up there at the moment?
<|Glitch|> astrodog: Sure it is. I should know, I have contracts with BP and APSC. I've even flown over the well site in ANWR. We're already getting oil from ANWR, but we're just not using federal lands to do it.
<guns4va> Bush should order them arrested, tried by a military tribunal, stripped of their citizenship, and deported.
<jhicks> ok, just making sure the hate is holding up here. back to watching teevee
<CryArvach> jhickster..no!
<jhicks> guns4va: congress?
<CryArvach> it will rot your mind!
<Yanks> i dont see the need of helping iraqis
<jhicks> CryArvach: ohno
<TheTailor> astrodog, I guess you just have to hear texas news to see it, they all want it
<guns4va> jhicks, congressmen and others who deliberately try to sap America's morale.
<astrodog> Glitch: Whacha do for BP? I'm a contract systems admin for them, Cheasapake, Unit, and a few others.
<DStewart> Disbelief, I cited that instance, as you know. And I also showed you what Bush ACTUALLY said, not what the reporter mischaracterized him as having said, previously, on Sept. 30, 2003.
<jhicks> guns4va: Like california
<Kaliuna> and IRAN prasident says Israel should be wiped off the map - looks like another war brewing
<CryArvach> wait...well you should watch TV....what you do with the livestock is worse
<Yanks> and sick of people telling soldiers that what their doing doesnt mean anything that there not fighting a real war
<Rockfish> Iran vs Israel? Short war
<jhicks> Yanks: It's not a real war
<TheTailor> Yanks, who said that?
<Kaliuna> hi TT
<CryArvach> Kali..i do not believe they gave that mofo a visa to be in USA...
<jhicks> Yanks: Congress declares real wars
<DStewart> Disbelief, so you're DOING IT AGAIN. You're intentionally distorting the facts. Did you read the date of the transcript of the statement the reporter is referring to? It's EARLIER than June 2004, AS I SAID.
<TheTailor> Hi Kaliuna
<astrodog> Tailor: I work for them. I actually work with the exploration geophysists. They don't want it. Unless you're talking to BP, and BP's all about arctic exploration these days.
<CryArvach> he is one of the 1979 Emb***y hostage takers
<Kaliuna> Cry -- probably didn't ...
<|Glitch|> astrodog: After Clinton vetoed opening ANWR for the second time in 1998, the state of Alaska opened up Thompson Point (just west of the ANWR border) which is state land. BP set up one well, Exon set up two, and they have been slant-drilling the oil from ANWR since 2003.
<DStewart> Disbelief, are you unable to read? Or is it worth it to you to lie?
<CryArvach> yes he did
<sym`> DStewart: I have seen that phrase somewhere before ...... I can't recall ....
<TheTailor> astrodog, you don't work for all of them.
<CryArvach> he should be declared P n G
<Rockfish> Cry, no he's not, that wasn't him
<Kaliuna> Cry - yup as its been stated by one of the hostages --
<CryArvach> yes it is rockfish
<jhicks> Yanks: there is no constitutional authority for delegation of congressional responsibilities
<Kaliuna> Rockfish - yes it is him...
<astrodog> Glitch: 3 wells?
<astrodog> Do you realize how trivial that is? Heh.
<Rockfish> No it's not, it doesn't even look that much like him, but I can see how they'd make the mistake
<|Glitch|> astrodog: So far. There will be more when the budget p***es.
<CryArvach> rockfish..how old are you?
<Swigert> euw
<Rockfish> Cry, 40
<jhicks> twelbe
<astrodog> Glitch, 3 wells isn't even enough for non-seismic exploration. Heh.
<Kaliuna> ain't nothing ON tv right now....
<CryArvach> it IS that bastard rockfish...
<Rockfish> No it's not
<CryArvach> bull****
<CryArvach> the ****er should be persona non grata in the USA
<guns4va> i think i might go off, take a bunch of pills, jab myself with a sharp needle, grab some dinner, and go to bed.
<sym`> guns4va: How nice ....
<^rcane> astrodog: blame congress
<jhicks> ^rcane: i always blame congress
<guns4va> sym, sounds like a good plan, yes?
<DStewart> Transcript of Bush's first statement on firing anyone who committed a crime in the Plame affair: http://www.fas.org/irp/news/2003/09/wh093003.html What he said: "And if there is a leak out of my administration, I want to know who it is. And if the person has violated law, the person will be taken care of." When he said it: Sept. 30, 2003.
<DStewart> What the reporter MISCHARACTERIZED what Bush had said on Sept. 30, 2003 as saying: "And, and, do you stand by your pledge to fire anyone found to have done so?"
<Kaliuna> guns -- hows that little one of yours... been a while since you sent me a pix
<|Glitch|> astrodog: ANWR is expected to produce between 7 and 8 billion barrels of oil over the next decade. By comparison, Prudhoe Bay has produced 15 billion barrels of oil over the last 28 years.
<guns4va> it's been a while since we've taken pics, she's so FAST.
<jhicks> DStewart spin machine on hyperdrive
<jhicks> woop
<^rcane> |Glitch|: and how many barrels do they produce from anwr?
<guns4va> she got beaten yesterday by her momma...
<Kaliuna> guns - well when you do -- :) bet she's growing a lot...
<guns4va> we are in SO much trouble with her.
<guns4va> she's a little terror.
<Kaliuna> hehehehe she's just a little girl...
<astrodog> Glitch: Its a decent field, but its just barely worth drilling for BP, and they're probably the best place out there at arctic work.
<DStewart> What Bush answered in response to the reporter's mischaracterization of Bush's 9/30/03 statement: "THE PRESIDENT: Yes. And that's up to the U.S. Attorney to find the facts."
<DStewart> And what Bush said on July 18, 2005: "And if someone committed a crime, they will no longer work in my administration."
<^rcane> EXPECTED
<guns4va> heh. She can't figure out the difference between our black cat and my black rabbitfur hat.
<DStewart> So let's put it all together so Disbelief's dishonesty will be apparent:
<Kaliuna> guns -- hehhe give her time --
<DStewart> Transcript of Bush's first statement on firing anyone who committed a crime in the Plame affair: http://www.fas.org/irp/news/2003/09/wh093003.html What he said: "And if there is a leak out of my administration, I want to know who it is. And if the person has violated law, the person will be taken care of." When he said it: Sept. 30, 2003.
<guns4va> she tries to pet the hat.
<DStewart> What the reporter MISCHARACTERIZED what Bush had said on Sept. 30, 2003 as saying: "And, and, do you stand by your pledge to fire anyone found to have done so?"
<jhicks> Bush waffled.
<guns4va> and wear the cat on her head.
<Kaliuna> guns -- now that would be a perfect picture to take -- keep camera handy
<guns4va> we will try
<|Glitch|> ^rcane: I don't have those numbers, but it isn't much at the moment because they are using an undersized pipe to connect to the Trans-Alaska Pipeline. When the Senate bill that opens ANWR p***es they will replace the small pipe with a 48" diameter pipe and build an ice-road. Right now the only practical way into those wells is by air.
<DStewart> "found to have done so?" Done so = "eaked the agent's name"
<DStewart> leaked
<guns4va> you knew about her being in the car wreck, yes?
<b1ff> jhicks he didnt waffle, he just didnt say what the MSM hoped he said
<jhicks> he waffled
<jhicks> waffling waffler
<b1ff> he didnt say what you wanted him to say
<DStewart> But Bush had not made a pledge to fire anyone found to have leaked a name, but to have committed a crime.
<b1ff> thats not waffling
<|Glitch|> astrodog: BP is more interested in our 37 trillion cubic feet of natural gas. :)
<jhicks> waffle waffle waffle
<b1ff> in fact, he was very specific and each statement was in line with each other
<sym`> All this talk about waffles and yellow cake
<astrodog> Glitch: Heh. Same for Unit, though they only have 2 Alaskian wells, and those are shared with BP.
<Swigert> let's go white sox. LET'S GO!
<jhicks> WAFFLES!
<jhicks> hehehehe
<b1ff> jhicks - strawman
<DStewart> jhicks, pointing out the truth is not spinning. Accusing someone of spin when they've pointed out the truth -- that's spin.
<jhicks> b1ff: with waffles
<Kaliuna> jhicks -- I like eating waffles with butter and syrup and some sausages on the side
<jhicks> DStewart: But i'm your biggest fan!
<Swigert> I really like this new MP3 player
<jhicks> I started the DStewart fan club even!
<CanOfSpam> I like Swigert. He makes my pants tight.
<Swigert> jhciks: with Dstewart as president, right?
<jhicks> Kaliuna: mmmm, i'm hungry now
<DStewart> jhicks, I wonder why I haven't put you on /ignore, as I had for a couple years before
