<MadScribe> Bush i believe is an average speaker, we've become accustomed to presidents who were quite frankly eloquent speakers while reading from a script, i mean Regan was a friggin actor, Bush, Clinton, let's go back and look at Kennedy, i mean

<MadScribe> one of my co-workers has an MS in computer science, very intelligent guy, you just have to wait forever for him to get his ideas out

<MadScribe> if you think speech is the indicator of intelligence you've probably missed a lot of worthwhile conversation

<RainDog`> Here's an off-topic question: There's a filling station near here where the pump jumps up to 54 cents as soon as you turn it on. The owner claims that he won't change that. That it's because people "lift the hose" and empty it.
