<KriLLy> No, you really couldn't. <dhartmei> i expect a tank to aggro everything so the healer can do his job, too. <Savage^> A tank can't keep aggro on an unlimited amount of mobs <dhartmei> "we have 3 paladins, we don't need a tank" <A-KO> dhartmei : even for a warrior it's hard to pull aggro on 10 mobs <Savage^> Except with retaliation maybe <A-KO> a warrior has one AOE taunt ability that lasts like <A-KO> 10 seconds? <dhartmei> it works nicely with most warriors i ever met :) <A-KO> and cooldown is like 5 mins <A-KO> or something like that isn't it? <A-KO> dhartmei : if a warrior charges in and hits one mob, the priest heals him, the other mobs will go after the priest. For the warrior to adequately keep aggro on all the mobs he would have to constantly switch targets <A-KO> as a paladin <A-KO> you can run in <A-KO> heal yourself <A-KO> and all the mobs will continually hate you <dhartmei> i thought he can abilities to increase threat etc <A-KO> he can, on ONE target <A-KO> he'd have to cycle through all of them and hit them all constantly <A-KO> as a paladin it's easier <A-KO> run in <A-KO> heal yourself <A-KO> mobs will hate you for the healing <dhartmei> so that's like a basic strategy most paladins should know? <A-KO> no, it's just a basic strategy I threw together understanding how healing threat works :) <dhartmei> does it increase threat if the heal is ineffective, i.e. you're at near-full health when you do it? <A-KO> as far as I know no <A-KO> it only counts how much you healed <A-KO> not how much the heal goes for <dhartmei> ok <A-KO> honestly if it's 10 mobs just shield a mage run in and AOE <A-KO> and make the pallies consecrate for the extremely low damage that it does <A-KO> :D <haku1> consecrate aint bad <cibo> how much do the sword specialisation proc, when its 5% <cibo> as rogue <haku1> same damage as regular hit <cibo> ok <cibo> i ment how often <haku1> 5% <cibo> ack <cibo> im so tired <haku1> lol <haku1> poor cibo :> <cibo> hehe <cibo> what i wanna know is if i can get something else <cibo> cause i only see the proc like once every 4th fight <Omniflare> i just started my first warrior <Omniflare> im very excited to play the tank <nih> And then you realise most teams **** <cibo> hhe <cyril> boo for random teams <A-KO> I think I'm going to level a hunter after my warlock <A-KO> actually, I've gotta finish leveling my rogue <A-KO> but I'll be doing my rogue and a hunter <nih> There's enough hunters around <A-KO> I've got a druid, and I'm going to have a warlock at 60(at 44 now). I think I've done my service to bring up the population of the least played cl***es <A-KO> lol <A-KO> my druid is all epic'd out <haku1> lol <A-KO> my warlock is 44, my rogue is 26 <A-KO> I've got a warrior at like 15 also <A-KO> I'll do the warrior after a rogue/hunter though <A-KO> after that... <A-KO> dunno what I'll level <A-KO> druid, warlock, rogue, hunter, warrior.....mage, priest, paladin, shaman <A-KO> of course if the expansion comes out <haku1> the expansion wont come out till like may 2006 <A-KO> that's only rumor <haku1> you have like 70 days played already lol <A-KO> dude, I've got 85 days played or so on my druid <A-KO> lol <haku1> 85 <haku1> lol <A-KO> yeah <A-KO> but that's slowed down tremendously...... <haku1> 85 days of killing mobs <A-KO> yep <A-KO> I've spent 3 months in WoW <A-KO> lol <haku1> yeh <nih> Someone doesn't have a job <A-KO> no I've got a job now <A-KO> but I didn't for a while <A-KO> it was just <A-KO> college + nothingness <A-KO> lol <A-KO> then summer of finding job <A-KO> and fall of having job <haku1> ur a computer scientist? <A-KO> nah, comp sci is boring........but I'm a network engineer... <haku1> oh <A-KO> so as soon as I can afford it I'm gonna get a gaming laptop and play WoW while at work <haku1> so you have a degree in computer science at least <haku1> lol <SkaarjPK> I been working in IT for 10 years and have an IT degree <A-KO> no, an ***ociate's..... <SkaarjPK> I'm ready to leave the Industry <A-KO> I'm too poor for a bachelor's <haku1> oh <haku1> skaarjpk, what you gonna do? <A-KO> SkaarjPK : I did construction for 2 years or so <cyberfr0g> IT is over rated <SkaarjPK> IT Industry ****s balls, it's not as fun as it used to be <haku1> why dont u get loans <haku1> yeh <haku1> what kinda stuff u work on? pay roll systems? <SkaarjPK> I'm ready to play Poker full time <cyberfr0g> haha loser <A-KO> IT is overrated if you went into it for the money.............I've been doing IT-related stuff since I was a kid <A-KO> it's all I've done <A-KO> I was that nerdy guy in school that everyone never talked to and thought would burn the school down <A-KO> but would contact me on IM after cl*** to fix their computer problems <nih> I did that :< <haku1> poor a-ko <nih> Okay, not really, but what a blast that would have been <A-KO> lol poor? nah. not at all. It's what I've liked doing. <haku1> a lot of weird ppl become artists or indie rock kids <haku1> anyway <A-KO> I can draw stick figures, that's about it <A-KO> haha <haku1> hehe <haku1> most artists aren't that great <nih> I can draw naked chicks, now that's a talent <haku1> i've been drawing since i was 4, and i see things in galleries and it looks like they've only been drawing for a year <A-KO> IT is just something I do..........second nature to me........so yeah....regardless of how the IT industry is currently versus what it was years ago....whether I'm making $40K, $60K, $80K/year....it's something I'll be doing no matter what <A-KO> lol <haku1> maybe i should be a network engineer <cyberfr0g> A-KO: there's a difference between enjoying computers and working in the IT field <A-KO> cyberfr0g : I know. I've done both. It's something I do, lol....been doing it since I was like 8 <A-KO> as I said <A-KO> i was that dorky kid in school man <A-KO> I gave up recesses when I was 8 to work in the mac lab they had in my elementary school back when apples were the shiznit for schools <A-KO> haha <A-KO> then in middle school and HS I did a lot of computer work for all the 'rich' and 'preppy' kids...........mostly remote though.....and then also in HS I did my 'community service' requirements working in the school's IT department.... <A-KO> then I went to a tech school for the ****, and got a job there as ***t. net admin <A-KO> lol <A-KO> as I said <A-KO> all my life :/ <A-KO> you're right....there IS a difference....lol....but it's really all I know how to do other than some basic construction ****, lol <cyberfr0g> what does your past have anything to do with the current situation of the IT industry <A-KO> lol. It has to do with the fact that regardless of what the current situation in the IT industry is, that I will be there. <A-KO> lol <cyberfr0g> that's a stupid statment to make because you have no idea what situation you'll be in tomorrow <A-KO> nope. You're right. <A-KO> but what I do know is that information technology will always be around. Whether I go into the programming/development sector or I move to the more physical telecom-based sector <A-KO> there will be something there <A-KO> lol <SkaarjPK> too bad all the work will be done overseas <snuggl> anyone tried using a green whelp armour to CC the panthers in ZG?
