<^aSe^> yeah i think they give the written part first just to make things easier when u have to go through the lab with less people
<|silicon> guy said almost 90% of the people he's given the lab too fail
<|silicon> they had me configure 2 routers
<|silicon> then leave the room
<|silicon> and royally ****ed them up

<|silicon> and moved the interfaces
<^aSe^> when i used to compete.. i'd have to diag crazy ****.. they'd take a razor and slice a ribbon so u couldn't see it

<|silicon> and used a couple spare routers at work
<|silicon> Tony would give me a broken router
<|silicon> and have me fix it

<^aSe^> you should see if work will comp the books.. and throw them in the stack at work :)

<|silicon> test was $160.00
<|silicon> I got the check for the test the other day
<^aSe^> yeah but, having another ccna is worth a lot more than $160 to the company.. get some more experence a few more certs.. and its time to ask for a raise or find some place that will pay u more :)
